Psychedelic Healing*.
Psychedelics hold the potential to revolutionize mental health. I’ve dedicated years to studying them, learning from both Western and traditional healers, and developing best practices for training psychedelic guides and therapists.
Old maps warned travelers: hic sunt dracones—here be dragons. Psychedelic work can be profoundly helpful, and it can also be arduous, perilous, and thorny. Like a dragon, we cannot tame psychedelics; we can only learn to respectfully work with them. I‘ve experienced firsthand their incredible healing potential and their latent perils. I’ve spent decades learning about these sacred plants and compounds, both from traditional healers and scientific experts.
I am not merely an observer but an active participant in the psychedelic renaissance. I’ve contributed to psychedelic guide training as a curriculum developer, a mentor in CIIS’ Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research certificate program, and trainer/consultant across multiple facilitator programs in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. I’ve supported early efforts to reclassify and legalize psychoactive plants in Mexico. My foundation includes over a decade apprenticing with a Mazatec curandera, MAPS training as an MDMA-assisted therapy practitioner, and learning alongside healers from diverse traditions. My PhD research (the “Integral Blueprint”) is an attempt to contribute to the professionalization and safety of psychedelic-assisted therapy.
I’ve been involved in almost every aspect of this nascent field. Ways we can work together:
- Keynotes & talks (clinicians, conferences, institutes)
- Trainings & ceremonies (guides, facilitators, retreats where legal)
- Mentorship (readiness, formation, ethics, integration)
- Program consultation (curriculum design, sequencing, quality review)
- Articles & program reviews to support informed decision-making
Below, I share with you some of my work in this fascinating field. Reach out for a conversation about speaking, training, mentorship, or program consultation.

Program Reviews.
These reviews are the result of my ongoing study of psychedelic training programs. While I have taught in several of them, I’ve done my best to present each review as neutrally and objectively as possible. I hold no personal or financial ties to any of the programs included.
For each program, you’ll find a general impression, followed by three visual maps reflecting its level of integrality. The first shows its balance of body–mind–spirit dimensions; the second maps its intrapersonal, interpersonal, and transpersonal emphases; and the third applies Ken Wilber’s four quadrants from the AQAL model. You can find more information about the visual map here.
Although I do my best to keep these reports current, good programs are always evolving. These reviews are a snapshot in time. I encourage you to consult each program’s most recent offerings—and feel free to let me know about others I’ve not yet reviewed.
