I provide professional psychotherapy services, consulting and speaking on psychedelic training as well as ministerial services.
Much like the psychedelic awakening of the 1960s, the current renaissance has brought with it both inspiration and distortion—misconceptions, mistakes, and abuses. Now is the time to move from unbridled enthusiasm toward reorientation, discernment, consolidation, and ethical maturation.
I’ve studied, developed, and taught scores of training programs around the world on psychedelic-assisted therapy. As a result, I’ve distilled key insights and developed a map for training psychedelic guides. I share the findings of this ongoing analysis in the hope that they support the development of better programs, inform governmental and institutional curricula, and help aspiring guides make informed choices about where to study.
These reviews are the result of my ongoing study of psychedelic training programs. While I have taught in several of them, I’ve done my best to present each review as neutrally and objectively as possible. I hold no personal or financial ties to any of the programs included.
For each program, you’ll find a general impression, followed by three visual maps reflecting its level of integrality. The first shows its balance of body–mind–spirit dimensions; the second maps its intrapersonal, interpersonal, and transpersonal emphases; and the third applies Ken Wilber’s four quadrants from the AQAL model.
Although I do my best to keep these reports current, good programs are always evolving. These reviews are a snapshot in time. I encourage you to consult each program’s most recent offerings—and feel free to let me know about others I’ve not yet reviewed.
